An hour’s jeep safari to visit the beauty of the Coloured Canyon (SALAMA), a route carved through the rocks by an ancient watercourse, now dried up, which today is the destination of a beautiful excursion. The Coloured Canyon owes its name to the splendour of its multicoloured walls, carved into the sandstone and up to 40 m high.

The presence of iron and manganese oxides creates an incredible range of shades, from dark brown to red, ochre and yellow.

An hour’s walk immersed in a magnificent kaleidoscope of colours, from which curious shapes emerge, sometimes due to the shades of the earth, sometimes to the shape of the rock itself.

Making your way through narrow passages and sudden changes in level, which make this route particularly interesting and fun, you reach a beautiful valley and your instinct says: “more”.

The special emotions and incredible, almost fairy-tale scenery call you back for another visit.

Here we are at the famous “Blue Hole”, one of the wonders nature has designed for sea lovers, where you can dive into a blue world full of tropical fish bringing an untouched coral reef to life.

About 100 m deep and 50 m in diameter, the Blue Hole has always been a fascinating destination for divers and freedivers from all over the world, who gather here every year to set new diving records.
